    Cable Pull, parking brake

The Cable Pull, parking brake (32-0042) ensures strong and reliable engagement of the parking brake system. Replacing a worn cable restores proper tension and safe vehicle retention. Use Porza’s smart search to find the correct cable.

    FAQ

A cable pull for a parking brake is a mechanical linkage component that transfers the pulling force from the parking brake lever or pedal to the brake cables. It ensures equal distribution of force to both rear wheels, allowing the parking brake to engage evenly and securely. This component is essential for maintaining balanced braking and proper vehicle hold when parked.

Key specifications include connection type, mounting configuration, cable attachment points, and material strength. Cable pulls are typically made from hardened or coated steel to withstand repeated mechanical loads and resist corrosion. Precise dimensions and alignment are critical to ensure smooth operation and equal force distribution across the braking system.

Replacement is necessary when the component is worn, bent, corroded, or causing uneven braking performance. Symptoms may include one wheel braking more than the other, reduced parking brake effectiveness, or abnormal noise during operation. It is often replaced during brake system repairs or when addressing imbalance issues.

Porza offers a fit guarantee option where your vehicle details or technical specifications are checked against product data. This ensures the cable pull matches your specific parking brake system, reducing the risk of incorrect fitment.

Porza supplies high-quality brake components with fast delivery across Europe. Customers can order online or choose in-store pickup in the Netherlands, Germany, or Belgium. This allows quick and flexible access to essential parts for both professional workshops and individual users.

If you select the fit guarantee, Porza verifies compatibility before shipment. If the product does not fit or meet expectations, it can be returned according to the return policy. This ensures a reliable and risk-free purchasing experience.
